Dear Future Mom

This wonderful video (grab your tissues!) came out for World Down Syndrome Day.

It's proof that every life is special and capable of so much, if you only support and nurture each individual.

For those who don't know, I have a cousin with Down's, so this is close to my heart.

What Do You See?

Speaking of appearances, this is the video we made in protest of Autism $peaks most recent "call to action."

What Does Drowning Look Like?

This video gives me the chills every time I see it. Even though summer is almost over here, this is still something everyone should watch. Keep a close eye on the video and see if you can spot a person drowning. It's not as easy as you may think, nor may it look like you expect.

Kudos to the quick action of the life guard. Things could have been much worse.

Winnie and Haha or Wallace & Gromit

My son has a stuffed dog he received from my mother when he was a baby. He named it "Ha ha" and it's his favourite.
On a side note, while I never thought naming a dog "Ha ha" was really odd, I was surprised to see this video with a boy who named his favourite stuffed monkey, "Ah ah." I guess it's just an easy sound for babies to make.

Watch this video and cry like a baby, then get back to me:
Seriously, it's worth it! Heartwarming!

My hubby had a Winnie the Pooh bear as a child that was his favourite. His parents sent our son a Winnie the Pooh bear thinking he would also like it. He didn't care much for it at first, but now that he can "read" letters, he seems to have taken a liking to it.

The Little Man is also really into Wallace & Gromit (just like his daddy is). Knowing Gromit is a dog, he has now decided that Ha ha is Gromit and Winnie the Pooh is Wallace (for some inexplicable reason).

He reads out all the letters on Winnie the Pooh's shirt:
W-I-N-N-I-E P-O-O-H
and then says, "that spells Wallace and Gromit!"

Just try correcting him on that. NEVER! lol

So here are Wallace & Gromit!
